Hello Ms. Williams.
We have not received a response to the following September 14th email, and are very disappointed that you were unable to get the department to promptly fulfill our request for a smaller number of documents.
We will be available to review the records during the first week of October.
Since it is now September 20th, do you think that you can get the department to at least provide a list of what it is that they intend to produce?
Thank you very much for your help.

Subject: Open Records Request - September 11, 2007 -- SCORE II
Ms. Williams,
Your request to delay production of the documents until September 22nd is not acceptable.
We too are under a great deal of time pressure to ensure that the Colorado Department of State does not complete deployment of the SCORE II project until the questions that we have posed are answered and until the public has had an opportunity to review what is being hidden from the public.
Will you please work with us to make forward progress? It would help if you would provide access to the following documents today. If any or all of these documents are available electronically, we would be happy to start our review of them in their electronic form.
1. Letter transmitting the information security plan to the chief information security officer.
2. SCORE documentation to include:
a. User manuals.
b. Procedures manuals.
c. Entity Relationship Diagrams.
d. Threat Models.
e. Security Development Lifecycle.
Thank you for your help in fulfilling this Open Records Request.

Subject: RE: I no longer work for the Colorado Secretary of State -- Jonathan Tee
Dear Mr. Kolwicz:
Mr. Tee is no longer with the Secretary of State’s office and I will be taking over his duties.
Due to extenuating circumstances, the Department of State will not be able to respond to your Open Records Act request, dated September 11, by the close of business on September 14, 2007. Your request involves review of a large volume of records that the custodian cannot prepare or gather within the three day period without substantially interfering with the obligation to prepare the SCORE II project for deployment in a timely manner. Any records will be available for inspection on or before September 22, 2007.
Thank you,
Dana Williams
