Subject: [Colorado Voter].325 FW: NOTICE OF NON-COMPLIANCE Colorado Open Records Act, request for inspection of SCORE II records.

Dear Mr. Coffman,

To our understanding, the department of state is violating the Colorado Open Records laws. It is now Tuesday evening, and we have not had an opportunity to review even one of the documents we requested one week ago.

The purpose of this note is to ensure that you are personally aware of this unacceptable situation.

If you do not approve of the department’s actions, we hope that you will intervene in behalf of the people who elected you.

We are very concerned that it is department strategy to delay, delay until staff secretly declares the SCORE II project complete, and deprives the public the opportunity to have their questions and concerns addressed.

We hope that you will intervene in behalf of the public.
