Ms. Koster:
Based on our March 20th phone conversation, I did understand that you
forwarded my March 20 letter to your attorney.
In case it is not clear, my letter is a continuation of communications
related to Ms. Norback's unfulfilled March 15th Open Records request. It is
my understanding of the law that access to the eligible records should have
been granted by now.
Can you tell me when we shall receive a response to the March 20th letter?
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

If your are referring to a request for public records that was received
in my office on 3/16/07 (faxed to City Hall on 3/15) from Ms. Karen
Norback, that request was answered on March 19, 2007. The letter you
sent to my office by email on 3/20 has been forwarded to the Lafayette
City Attorney, as I told you by telephone on the 20th. Please consider
this email my written notification of that fact.

Ms. Koster:
If you have responded to my letter of March 20, I have not received your
response.
Since the Open Records request was submitted one week ago, March 15, I
believe that the City's authorization for our access to the records is
tardy.
I would appreciate your looking into the delay and letting us know what
to expect.
Thank you.
