I'm still waiting to hear from client on whether I'm approved for a meeting with you. Maybe you are already aware of this, but the Secretary of State pays legal fees to my office on an hourly basis for all the work we do, so I must have the Secretary's consent prior to meeting with you. They are understandably extremely busy right now, so I haven't heard back yet on your request. I'll contact you as soon as I have word.
In terms of lawsuits, I'm only aware of one suit that was served last Wednesday (the 7th). No one at my office is aware of any other suits, and we have not heard of any other suits from the Secretary. It was filed in Federal District Court in New York and names the 50 Secretaries of State as defendants. It is a broad-based attack on direct record electronic devices in general. If you would like a copy of the suit, let me know in writing so we can make it a CORA request. It is rather lengthy, but I'm sure we can get you a copy of it quickly.
