Dear Mr. Tee,

Perhaps you did not receive the following email dated August 3rd so I am retransmitting it.

We are deeply concerned that we are not getting answers to our legitimate questions. As you know, there is a considerable backlog of unanswered questions.

Al

Subject: Voting System Certification

Dear Mr. Tee,

The certification program overview and timeline signifies a “90 day maximum” time period between the submission of an application and the decision on whether or not to certify a voting system.

We estimate that the 90 day maximum period had expired for at least one of the submissions.

Has the Department of State made its determination? If so, we wish to understand why our repeated requests to participate in the decision-making process have been ignored. If the determination has not been made, we would like to understand the status, since the 90 maximum period appears to have expired.

Thank you for your prompt response.

Al
